I am against the rezoning from R14.5 to MRD-3 due to poor infrastructure currently. Also with 300+ new home going in and their added traffic we do not need 314 apartments/condos with possibly 2 cars per unit with only exits being Hwy 17 Business & Hwy 17 Bypass. The roads are owned by an LLC privately and are in poor condition, subpar and not maintained. The drainage in this community cannot handle what we had before the new houses started being built and in no way could handle MRD. You would be opening up a community to mass flooding in future storms and hurricanes. We do not want what happened in FLORENCE (the storm) to come to our community! Rezoning is not a good idea for Deerfield! Thank you!
