I really thought this would just be a small project for a few fellow fans but the momentum here is completely overwhelming. It is honestly down to all of you showing how much this set still means to us.

This set needs to be re-released, and be available world wide! (it was never available officially where I lived) Please Lego make it happen in 2017!
When this box was still on sale, many fans were too young to have the financial ability to buy it. But now there are many who would be happy to have it. The prices on the second market are simply crazy. Lego has to make its best model ever made again.
Lego needs to know that the buying market changes. People who didn't have an interest in 2007, have gotten older, or younger people, are now new avid lego customers. The idea that there presumed market is children, simply isn't true. A re release would be awesome !!!
Would love to see a re-release. Let the guys who bought 50 of these just to jack the price by 600%-700% get bent. Bring back for the true fans.
Absolutely! Just don't do it the week after I buy $1300 of individual bricks to make one the hard way.
This is something I wanted since I was a kid. Unfortunately I didn't have that kind of money and now that I'm older I would love to be able to buy this set.

I bought this immediately when it was first released but when I had to leave my home in FL to take care of my dad in VA I donated it to a church youth group (along with a UCS ISD and a UCS Death Star). I'd love to get the set back but no way can I touch the 4-5k prices anymore.
