Re-open the Shrewsbury Railway Station – Abbey Foregate Footpath

It makes no sense to keep this closed.

this footpath idea makes good sense for overall sustainability. In particular in my own case, it would benefit us since we live past the Abbey in Cherry Orchard.

This would be a very useful access to the station for pedestrians and cyclists, especially when the river path is flooded

This would be so helpful for those of us who live south of the town centre.

This is known as a "no brainer".

I agree this would be very beneficial to all of Shrewsbury. From the over side of the River Severn it's a lengthy walk to the railway station and with the new pickup and drop off area it would help to reduce traffic in the town centre.

Living in Broseley causes my to drive through the town centre twice every time I pick up/drop off at the station. What a waste for everyone!

Please consider opening up the pathway, it would reduce the traffic coming to the main entrance of the train station plus new walking access to town from Abbey Foregate/monk moor area.

I would love for this to happen, it would make access to the station soooo much quicker for me

We have been asking about this from our local councillor for a few years.

Please re-access this path, great for keeping cars out of the town centre loop, great for walkers and cyclist too.

It would be a great utility to the town.
