I have spent this week contacting local chambers of commerce to push for a re-opening plan that prioritizes our local economy. Please email your county representatives today and demand that they meet with our group to discuss safety protocols for small businesses.

I Operate and Own a 29year Restaurant in Saratoga Springs, NY. I have been closed for two months and anticipate the earliest opportunity to re-open our doors to still be another month away. This is NOT sustainable and may jeopardize the continuation of my business. I employ 20 full and part time employees all of whom depend on me to make an honest wage and be productive members of our community. They are ready and willing to dig in and fight for this restaurant and want to resume our ability to provide comfort and a sense of belonging to many locals. Please hear our plea and allow us to re-open and make our community the place that so many call home and their home away from home!
Please let us reopen our small Hospitality business. We will take every precaution. Our Bride and Grooms to be, are so worried about loosing their special wedding day. We are close to loosing everything we worked so hard building and creating. Sincerely, Stephanie & Ron Mattia
The need to open this town AND county is essential! This locale does not have the same numbers of infection to death rate as NYC, to warrant losing our economy, livelihood, and SANITY!
There are certainly procedures that each business can put into place to ensure the safety of every individual who frequents our establishment. As business owners in Saratoga County we can offer to help each other as we adjust. And our customers will appreciate the effort we place on their safety and continued well being.
I feel that we are willing to implement and enforce the controls needed to safely open our doors in a controlled way.
With the proper measures in place, there’s no reason not to be back in business. If anyone needs help, please reach out to us for all the CDC recommended signage and protection. Fastsigns of Saratoga Springs supports this petition and is here to help.
Saratoga should open immediately and can do so safely. Our collective lives depend on it and this outweighs COVID fears and hysteria.

I am part owner of a by appointment only Bridal Boutique in Saratoga Springs. We are a lower risk environment than most essential businesses. We have implemented many new safety measures to abide by CDC guidelines and there is no longer a reason for our shop or many others in our industry to be closed.
