having used the pool for more than 20years I am very saddened that it is closed to the local community. Being one of the older members I will very much miss the exercise and as a none driver will find it difficult to travel further afield.

Parent of pupils of the school and also suporter of the village and local area it's wrong for the school to take away what is an asset to the village without any reason , I wonder what they will do with the sport England community grant that helped fund it ??

Rishworth sports club and pool maybe owned by the school but many years ago it allowed the community access to the facilities for a fee. Members miss the pool and facilities. It had become part of the community, used and enjoyed by all. Please let us have the pool and facilities back.

Maybe a Picket infront of all the parents would spark something at the fee paying school. While Retaliation isn't Done without consequence the Governors have given you all little choice. Fee-paying parents won't like the inconvenience. IT will attract negative press on the school and hopefully OFTSED will see how poor the school have treated its Customers, the Local community....

The School, should not have closed this local amenity without either notice, or allowing the social club to re-locate. Shame on the School Governing Body! You have destroyed peoples: healthy Lifestyles, Community links, Employment, Social wellbeing, Empowerment, Confidence.

Ive worked here and also completed courses to facilitate my work. Taking this away from people like me can have a detriment to my career and livlihood!

Fantastic pool for little children. Would like to know the reason for closing and what would need to be done to re - open. A disappointed Old Rishworthian.

My message to Rishworth School - Surely there is a cooperative way forward to regain this brilliant resource for the whole community in the interests of everybody staff, members and Rishworth school.

PLEASE RE-OPEN! We moved to the area recently and were so happy to find a gym with a full sized pool right on our doorstep that all the family could join. We now feel rather cheated that it's been closed down.
