Re-open Park Bridge to Light Vehicles

I very rarely used the bridge but there has been 2 occasions due to weather or road traffic accidents that I have had to use it , Once in bad weather i would have been stuck without it.

In common with all councils approaches to a problem is to start a long lengthy drawn out dialog with interested parties in the hope that interest fades and everyone gets used to the situation. They had every intention of permanently closing this bridge from day one.

Please reopen with all the new build houses either side it’s needed more than ever

Due to the introduction of the AWPR road changes and closure of the park bridge, traffic build up on north Deeside road between Peterculter and Aberdeen has become excessive, re-opening the crossing would undoubtedly improve traffic flow through to South Deeside and relieve congestion on North Deeside road, not to mention reduce travel times for community living in the area and for people visiting family and friends in the area, open the bridge to private cars and light goods delivery vehicles would be a good move here for many and create jobs for local firms doing bridge repairs/maintenance. Please take urgent action to repair Park Bridge, Drumoak so that it can re-open to light vehicles as soon as possible. The closure has had a detrimental impact on the community.

This is road infrastructure that should be preserved. Surely there is a duty to do so.
