As a co-worker of Jim’s, I ask that special consideration be given to the fact that he served his community as a diligent paramedic. Murphy was found near Wonowon on hwy 97, which is 200km from where Jim's truck was found near his home in Chetwynd. As the crow flies, Murphy would have had to cross highway 29 and the Peace River to get to Wonowon from Jim's truck, which is highly unlikely. Especially since it is 200 km away from home - why would a dog go that far away from home. Hwy 97 in an unknown vehicle is most likely how he got there. Which indicates at least one unknown person was involved. I'm sure the RCMP have figured this out.
SAR is already out looking again, though the comment I saw didn't say where.
