Help save Florida families from going under!

Since March 28th, it has been a crime in Florida to provide your home as a short-term rental to anyone who is not engaged in essential work. Meanwhile, rat-infested motels have been ENCOURAGED to remain open.

It no longer makes sense to bar pristine, sanitized luxury home rentals who follows safety protocols while allowing motels with multiple health code violations to welcome guests.

The unfair executive order banning short-term home rentals is scheduled to EXPIRE on April 30th

Sign to petition the governor NOT to renew it.

The livelihoods of THOUSANDS of Floridians who own rental properties (and who still have to pay the BILLS on those rental properties)…. is at stake.

Please reopen our clean and safe short term rentals as our livelihood depends on it. I have stage 4 cancer and I depend on this income to help with medical expenses. Thank you!

My single family short term rental with a large, private, fenced in backyard provides my guests Plenty of room to Be socially distant, especially in comparison to a crowded hotel

I am the owner of Canaan Property Management LLC. We manage short term rental houses and sanitize the property after each checkout. We have higher cleaning standard than most hotels. Please do not renew the suspension order. We and our home owners need to pay bill and buy groceries to support families.

I own two short term rental condos in Panama City Beach. I clean and sanitize, launder all bedding and bedspreads between guests, and would be willing to separate stays by three days, if necessary. I don't understand why hotels and motels have privilege to open to guests while penalizing short term rental homes and condos.

Without income coming in we still have to pay for HOA, property taxes and mortgages. Please open the beach and let us rent. We are not a big corporation like Holiday inn.

Never fully understood why STR with separate air systems and full kitchen facility were closed but hotels/motels not? Florida resident and STR owner here. Please think about the impact on taxpayers and business owners

Where is the logic in allowing motels and hotels with large capacities to operate, yet short term rentals typically occupied with one family at a time separate from other share areas must remain closed? This is not only ridiculous it’s violating those owners rights. Open back everything. If people don’t want to take the risk they are still free to stay home.
