Organizing faculty shouldn't be a reason for non-renewal. All workers have a constitutional right to organize!

I'm finally re enrolling back this fall and was excited to be taking his classes again. He is one of the best professors at that school and a student favorite. I will absolutely petition for him! I need him there this fall!

Faculty have a right to organize. Do not distroy the institution by penalizing faculty for thinking and taking ethical actions. Doing this will greatly diminish the quality of education. Educated people analyze situations and take reasonable actions to improve situations.

Harris Stowe should be working with it's faculty and staff to make a better university. Not retaliating against professors for union organizing!

I find it absolutely incomprehensible then here it still would not renew the contract of Dr. Elsessor

I stand in support of Dr. Brian Elsesser! After 11 years of dedicated and excellent service to students, we believe that Dr. Elsesser was unjustly denied a university contract for organizing faculty at HSSU. I urge the Board of Regents and Administration of HSSU to re-instate him!

Walking around campus with Dr. Elsesser was always an experience. It was quite obvious that students appreciated his talented teaching style and, as students stopped to say hello, he always took the time to talk with them! I've worked with a lot of professors throughout my career and Dr Elsesser is by far one of the most dedicated and caring professor I have met. How HSSU Administration felt compelled to do what it did is a certainly a disservice to the institution and the students they teach! Shane on you HSSU!

Dr. Elsesser is hands down the best history professors I had from Harris-Stowe, he taught more than just history and went above and beyond his duty as a professor; and also took out personal time to treat his students. He was one of the reason I stayed at Harris Stowe for so long but eventually I had to transfer. Not reinstating Dr. Elsesser is a loss to the University!

Outrageous! Purest form of intimidation and a pitifully misguided attempt to squelch employee rights. This will turn out poorly for the administration after the usual posturing in court.

The right of university faculty to organize for the purpose of collective bargaining is a right provided by the Missouri Constitution and affirmed by the Missouri Supreme Court. Harris-Stowe NEA members have been conscientious activists with a vision for a quality education and university for their students and community. No one of them should be punitively singled out for these efforts.
