Becoming a Sig Tau brother did more than add fun to my four years in college, it enriched friendships I already had and provided me with new ones that, over 40 years later, remain as strong as they ever were. We weren’t all the same, but we developed a common bond and love for each other that I will never forget.

I have often said, pledging a fraternity , Sig Tau specifically, was one of the best moves of my life. Here we are 45 years later, and the friendships, support and brotherhood have not only endured the passage of time, but continue to grow and flourish. Life long friends there for you at the drop of a hat…what more can a young man ask for.

I can spend pages of time explaining how Sig Tau relationships have impacted my life, but none other than one experienced just today. I received a text that one of my fraternity brother's young brother was in the airport flying to see an ailing parent at another terminal. Forgeting about checked bags, i walked to the other terminal to check on my sig tau's younger brother to ensure he was okay. I am 30 years from pledging and this wasn't a second thought. This is a bond that cannot be explained but actions in life that mean more than can be explained. This isn ust one of many life experiences where brothers are there for each other in a time of need not just during college..

It would be great to see another generation of young men given the opportunity to become part of the Brotherhood of Sigma Tau Gamma. I know that Sig Tau provides me today with some of my fondest memories from attending Shippensburg..

Fraternity life at Shippensburg is essential. Having the diversity and variety to be part of a group dedicated to furthering one’s development during a critical point in life is important. The people I bonded with at Sigma Tau Gamma and Greek like lasts a lifetime. I support the chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma at Shippensburg University

Sigma Tau Gamma, Beta Epsilon chapter at Shippensburg University was a tremendous experience during my 4 years of college life. It has proven to be a life long supportive group of great friends and ongoing experiences that make life more meaningful. We continue to raise money to support our brothers in need. I am very grateful to be a Shippensburg Sig Tau and it would be a great thing for a new group of young men to have the same opportunity and join our strong and thriving brotherhood.

I am approaching 60 and count dozens of Sig Tau’s as lifelong close friends to this day and my first two jobs were a result of fraternity connections. Invaluable experience!
