All the negatives of the current design can be modified. I agree with the Pine Street coalition about changes that need to be made.
Please, eliminate all shared mixed ped/bike paths! If they stay in they will kill people.

The Champlain Parkway will directly have a negative impact on the families of the King Maple Neighborhood. This neighborhood has one of the largest percentages of minorities in the city of Burlington and 80% of all households are low to moderate income. The current proposal would increase traffic and speed of traffic where these families live

The original design is obsolete for today's needs and will only grow more outdated in the coming years. This project needs a significant redesign to accommodate and address the communities' desires and concerns regarding the various design aspects.
