I believe this new grading policy is absurd, this doesn't just apply to people in extra curricular activities this applies to all students of rcisd schools. Taking 30 points off of a paper for it being one day late makes the our school district look bad and a student look bad to colleges. I personally as an athlete with 8 classes that all give homework I find it hard to complete all of my assignments and I'm only a sophomore.

Athletes need sleep so they can perform in class and on the court. They can't do that when they are too worried about finfishing hoemwork at a game or late at night

Please helped get this changed back, I'm an athlete and spend nights almost to 3 am trying to finish homework for all my classes. I'm a junior, and I'm just now adjusting to how hard it is, I wake up everyday at six. And go to bed late, please change it back.

This grading policy nearly makes it impossible for kids in extracurricular activities to pass. Just change it back to the way it was..

The grading policy is not helping either the students or the teachers. The grading policy should go back to normal or change to something less dramatic.
