This newest grading policy allows little to zero flexibility from the student body when they have personal, familial, or any other obligatory responsibilities that may prevent them from turning in an assignment on time. Perhaps we should suspend the punishment for a day so that the second day after the due date it is -30 points. There could still be a -10 points after one day in order to maintain a level of punishment, so it would look like 90 (after first day) 70 (after second) 60 (after the next day) and 50 (on the final day)

I feel like 30 points after one day is just a little to much. Some teachers don't care about if you have after school activities or anything like that so they take off the points anyway even though sometimes you just can't do the work

The policy is booty bro why would they do this like I'm just a kid we all are. Sometimes things happen and rcisd obviously doesn't care about their kids or the minorities and the globalization of China.

The administrators tried to correct a problem; however, they created an even bigger problem for students that have their scheduled filled with extra-curricular's and advanced courses. These students are obivously trying to get into a nice college, but with the new grading policy, when they turn in a paper that is one day late, that paper cuts their grade down to a ridiculous level thus hurting their overall average in that class. We are trying to stand out for a college to see us, but this grading policy is not going to let that happen. Fix this ASAP.
