Personally I like the idea of having the pastoral care groups instead of spiritual life. It will give me and all the other older students a chance to mentor and be apart of the younger students lives, and to help them get through this hell hole know as school. But as for the change in period times, I'm really dreading it. Personally I am someone that struggles to come to school on a daily bases, not because I'm getting bullied or anything else like that but because as it I dread sitting in class, and/or disappointing my teachers. I am someone who struggles to sit still some days. I always need to be doing something while the teacher is speaking other wise I can't pay attention to what's being said. Even though I'm doing all the subjects I enjoy most I still dread every class because they seem so long, by adding another 13 minutes (roughly) to each period and then roughly 26 minutes to a double you'll will found that me and other students will dread coming to school all together, some may stop all together. Please don't change it for my last year, school is stressful enough as it is. One last thing, please listen to us students, we are the ones who are receiving the education not you. So please don't make such drastic decisions without asking us what we think, we are the ones that have to suffer through this not you.

For OP students It's supposed to be a practice year in year 11 but then year 12 will change and that's unfair

Honestly, I struggle to keep focus in class for 74 mins but 140 mins I wouldn't even stay awake. With my grades Already dropping I don't think making a change to the timetable will help me or others improves

Year 12 is complicated enough as it is in regards to time management. Why complicate it further without even consulting the year level who's future is determined through this already stressful final year of privately funded education. Disrespectful is a fitting word for the arrogant action that this school has taken towards its graduating students of 2017.

This new plain is ridiculous and much added stress to grade 12. Taking away our study halls and making exam blocks shorter are going to make next year even more stressful the needed. And the amount of time spent walking between classes that the school wants to cut out / reduce is a break from the working and refresh our minds. I will not be able to keep focus for that long. This plain should be put into place when the op is dropped so it's not a major change and jolt for everyone. They can not do this to us especially in the last year what if it doesn't work and our marks drop causing a horrible op because it is impossible to keep focused for that long of a time. Like seriously.
