The fact that we no longer have half an hour to prepare ourselves for the day in spiritual life is a massive issue. What about starting the day with a nice calm environment instead of jumping straight into chemistry or another subject. Why take away our study halls when so many of us rely on them. Longer lessons and less time between lessons due to there being less lessons of that subject per week because the lessons are longer, means that teachers will give more homework. With more work, no in school time or study halls and with so many commitments students have outside of school: Work (some of my RC Friends have TWO jobs), sports, music etc, we as students will have less time to work on assessment and homework. All of our much needed free time that it is shown through studies that teenagers need to be able to have to function normally and healthily both physically and mentally will be consumed with endless amounts of work and stress. Students are under enough stress, why make more.

Fully agree with everything stated, the spiritual life change would affect the whole grade after already spending 2 years with the students in the class as we have seen each other grow and changing this in our SENIOR year is completly pointless and against what was said in year 10

I don't want it to change I'm happy with the old system. I loose focus in class after like 10 minutes. They are expecting us to sit still and listen and not use technology they will be in for a surprise next year !

Keep the old system in place, let's face it...no one will pay attention for that long! We barely stay awake in a 30min double lesson. Bring back 8 periods

Lets all be honest, we dont want 100 minutes of math straight, Nor a time to socialize with others. I thought thats what lunch time was for.

Just keep the old system, no one will pay attention in the longer lessons, and this pastoral care thing - not keen.

I can barely stay awake for a normal double, plus why would we want a system that works fine for us when it will massively effect our final year
