The bench design is unsightly, too low, the granite material is too cold in inclement weather, the design will impede surface water drainage and attract detritus. The exposed edges present a safety hazard to visually impaired and small children

These seats are too low and look like a pile of discarded hoarding from afar. They have no back rests and are not useful to old people. Furthermore the corners are sharp and could cause a hazard.

The "seats" are not fit for purpose and pose a hazard to small children and those with sensory and mobility issues. As for them being part of a "musical heritage" I thought Kidderminster was famous for it's carpet and weaving history , makes you wonder what was behind this designe being chosen.

I have young children and I see these as an accident waiting to happen , they are at adult shin height and a child's head height and could seriously hurt someone on a busy market day when lots of pedestrians are around etc ! I like the design and they do look nice but I don't think they were thought about very well with safety etc

What an eyesore! I've seen one with "The Beefheart Band" displayed, even though it should be "The Magic Band" - They can't even get the info right! By the way, how much did these ridiculous seats cost?

I canott any sense in having these so called seats, they stand out like a sore thumb, they are dangerous to the elderly, and with people with wheel chairs, plus they are unsightly, evertime we go past them they seem to be in the way. I also have to say some of the block paving is starting to be uneven already.
