Rasmussen College to keep physical books as a part of all courses

I can understand why the school would want to only have ebooks(its cheaper, students wont have to wait to get books each semester etc.)but i personally will always learn better if i can have it in my hands. I read all types of places and it is hard to do that with only ebooks available. I am paying for my school and would like to read the books that i pay for my way.

I prefer actual books because I like to highlight the text and have it available to review later. Having to review in the computer is not as convenient.

I can not read on the computer as it gives me a headache and is very hard to read would rather have a physical text book

I hate ebooks.

I am disability papers stating i need a book, I can not sit at a computer for 87 hours a day.. I want my book.

Ebooks are only available for a limited time and students can only reference back to them during that time. With a physical book, students are able to keep them and utilize them through out their career.

I am one of many students who do not prefer to use ebooks. I like to have an actual tangible book that I can highlight and write notes in. I do believe that we should have a choice as to whether or not to use a ebook or a real book.

I can not stand the ebooks! Please give us the choice of having our books.

I think we, as students, should at least have the option of obtaining a copy of the book so as to have a permanent refernce if desired.

We are the students and we are the ones that have to use the ebooks or the real text books so we should be the ones to make that choice for ourselves

I Don't Like EBooks! I perfer TxtBooks!

we should be able to chose what we want not everyone can buy a tablet to but them on or want to lug their computer around

I dont like E books. I like to take a paper book with me. I work alot and cannot afford to travel with electronics all over dangerous Brooklyn NY

I do not like ebooks. They give me massive headaches while reading and I cannot read for very long and it takes me longer to do my assingments. I prefer to have the actual book at hand. I wish every class gave out the real book or they asked you before they sent out ebooks and/or real books so people can get their preference. I understand there may be some classes that do not have regular books and only use e books and that is fine, but having to deal with ebooks for more than one class at a time is not good for me especially when I have small children.

I do not like Ebooks either! It is our money and we should be able to choose.

If I would have known that Rasmussen was going to switch to only ebooks I would have done my schooling else where. Also if Rasmussen is switching to only ebooks then they should not be charging a course material fee of $150 per course either. You are also suppose to have access to your ebook for a few years but I have has access to books for that semester and the next semester I had a course that required the same book and it got taked off my library. If I pay for it I better have the option to get my text books!

I prefer to hold the book and carry it with me... I have a hard time reading on the screen and it hurts my eyes after awhile. I like to see my books, touch them, note in them etc... I would rather NOT EVER have an ebook. Please consider.

I vote for physical books instead of ebooks
