Rasmussen College to keep physical books as a part of all courses

ebooks suck hard cover rules stop forcing us students to use them.

I have found that while using eboks maybe conviniet to keep in one place, It is much harder for me to study and do my reading for each week. I can concentrate alot better with a physical textbook. In addition not everyone is able to purchase a tablet or ebook reader ,I purchased one only because of this eBook situation. I feel we should be able to choose if we want an eBook or physical textbook.

I have had a harder time in each of my classes that use ebooks. for me it is clear, i do better with a hard book to use and study out of

beleive text books from colleges must be in textbooks. Ebooks are affecting my eyes someway and I it is hard for me to read from a period of time in a computer or tablet. I would appreciate if we get the choice instead of forcing people to get ebooks.

I believe that this should be a choice made by the students. We have a right to be able to choose how we want to learn, via textbook or eBook. Personally I like physical textbooks that I can write notes in and quickly highlight or reference too. I think most would agree that even with online courses that a textbook is more efficient for most.

My program is only offered online. That is already a more difficult learning process. To also not have a physical book to learn from will make learning so much more difficult for me. I like to take my books to work to study on breaks and I can't do that with ebooks. I think it will hurt the students learning rather than help.

It should be an option, not a decision made for us. We each learn differently and should be allowed to read how we know we learn best.

I didn't even know the school was switching to all ebooks so when I didn't get my hard copy I called and found out it was too late to get a hard copy. I don't think it's fair that they just go ahead and give the ebook. I have a hard time looking on the screen and perfer to have a book infront of my face.

I have to always return my ebooks and get a physical book due to getting migraines when i read material online. If Rasumussen sees fit to go all ebooks I will have to withdraw from this school and transfer to a school that better accomodates its students!

Every class that I have with an ebook, I can count on my grade being lower then a class with a regular text book.

For some things, I do not mind ebooks but there are many classes that it is difficult to read that way. I think that it should be our option to choose.

I like to take physucal books with me when I am at work and physically turn the page. I am old fashioned and i like what I like. I agree that we pay thousands of dollars for our education and we should have a say on what format we would like our books in. I personally hate ebooks!

E-Books only make it more difficult to follow. I pay thousands of dollars for my education so I should be able to choose what format of books I get!

give us the option of hard copy books thats what we are paying for

I prefer physical books and I think every student should have the option to choose what kind of book they get, after all we are the ones paying for it! Thank you

Please please please do not go e-books. My eyes can't take it!

I strongly oppose the use of e-book. It will adversely affect my grades and/or learning. I need a physical textbook. We should have a choice!

If they are only going to supply ebooks they need to supply us with ereaders upon enrollment and to those already enrolled.

I want physical text books.
