Rasmussen College to keep physical books as a part of all courses

Tried eBooks for all 4 of my courses this current term (Winter 2014). So far, into week 5, I'm not a fan at all. I would like the default to be paper books with the option for eBooks. This could maybe work for some of my courses, but not all. While there is an option to have the eBook "offline" it still requires a device for reading, which is not always feasible when I have downtime that I could be using reading or studying. It's been a huge challenge so far this term, but I at least gave it a try. Please make paper books the default again!

I hate ebooks and every quarter I do what I can to ensure that i get a physical book. When I am doing assignments, it is easier to open the text and have it sitting in front of me rather than minimizing out of my assignment to look at the book all the time. Not to mention, it is easier to take the physical book places and read it and take notes rather than taking the computer with me. I know I am not rich enough to afford an ipad, I do not know about anybody else.

E-books are not the best for everyone. Sometimes you want to get away from looking at a computer and for me going between the book and the computer helps with my migraines. We as students who pay our tuition should be given the option of wether we want e-books or actual books.

I wear glasses and staring at a computer screen all day at work and then coming home to read a book on the computer is painful by the end of the night. I do not sell my books back and I personally prefer a real book over an ebook in all aspects of reading.

Ebooks suck, they hurt my eyes and I already use glasses, so its not any easier.

The E-Books are not available to download as a .pdf which makes them completely useless. I always return the e-book and request a physical copy.

I do not like e-books. Every quarter I turn my e-book in for a text book. If they want to go to e-books, than they need to provide us with an iPad. Not every student has a laptop/computer and they rely on the computers provided at the school.
