I support Acton town variance to allow use of owner’s property as overflow parking for restaurant staff & patrons.

Rapscallion is and has been an oasis, especially during the pandemic. Limiting their parking capacity also unnecessarily limits their ability to accommodate the citizens of Acton and surrounding towns.

This sounds like an excellent solution.

I am a 20+ year resident of Acton, and our town needs to do better at supporting local businesses that provides service and jobs to our residents and contribute to our tax base.

This is ridiculous! The town needs to support businesses, especially one so popular!

So many antiquated laws in this town. More housing, more tax revenue, very little to aid the infrastructure. Hoping this gets fixed for you soon. We are huge fans.

As a former 7 year resident of the towni of Acton, it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth to see them making it more difficult for Rapscallion to run their business successfully. It is obvious the people making the decision on this have no clue what it takes to run a successful business. I hope they make the correct decision here and grant Rapscallion the ability to park more cars in their lot. This restaurant has been a shining example of how to operate within the hospitality business for years. They felt more like neighbors than business owners to me. Hoping for a positive outcome.

As others have mentioned, it is important for Acton to support its small businesses. I fully support Rapscallion's efforts to allow more parking on its property. It should not be constrained by a bylaw that was written based on conditions that no longer apply.

Rapscallion is a staple in this community and always bustling. Not to mention how they support the community and bent over backwards to stay running and provide service through the pandemic in creative ways. It absolutely disgusts me that the town won’t help this celebrated local establishment in the same way.

This is a great restaurant and I would hate to see them forced to leave! Please allow them to use their additional parking area.
