I was just telling me mom today I will never understand why Actons select board seems to actively chase businesses away. It’s as though they want a bunch of ugly empty commercial properties so they can keep jacking up residential property tax and justifying their support for destroying our wetlands to build more hideous houses. I can’t imagine the housing boom will last much longer here as long as the town is run this way. Wish your establishment the best of luck. This is infuriating.

Raps is one of my favorite spots but I have occasionally had to turn away because there was no parking, if it wasn't conducive (cold, poor weather, etc.) to parking down the road at Donnelan's or such. The overflow parking is critical to keeping such a great community spot running!

Not only will it not cost the town, but as long as Rapscallion remains in business, the town will continue to receive taxes from a profitable business. It’s hard enough to survive in this economic climate - food costs, utilities, inflation, are all rising, not to mention the cost of training and retaining valuable employees. They are an asset to families in the area. The town should be trying to help Peter and Cedric, not trying to force them out.

Rapscallion was a key reason we chose to move to Acton. It is brings so much character to the town, and deserves to stay in business and thrive after surviving the pandemic. The overflow parking has also always been done in an orderly fashion in my experience.

Let them use their land to park

This is absolutely crazy …the town of acton should be helping businesses rather than just let them leave … we have so many empty buildings with not a lot of restaurant options to begin with and should not be letting this happen again

We are patrons and want Rapscallions to stay in business in Acton.

Rapscallion is a gem in our community, please allow the variances needed to let them continue to keep the additional parking they have on site which works well.

Please allow them the parking they have requested on their property.

Please accommodate this businesses need and the needs of similar businesses.

Please allow parking to take place on their own private property. This is no time to push valuable business away.

Love this place and people. Work with them, Acton.

This business is a cornerstone of the community and a vital part of the local economy. Please grant the parking variance post-haste.

Common sense would be to grant a variance for the maximum number of spaces they can fit.

Acton needs businesses like Rapscallions.

Town of acton: please work with rapscallions to resove the parking problem !
