Community Meetings on the Future of Rancho Del Mar

I do not wish to make a donation to I petitions at this time.

Please allow the Aptos community to give input regarding decisions affecting the Rancho Del Mar shopping center. It was a huge loss and surprise to us all who have enjoyed so much at the Aptos Twin Theater.

Please reopen twin theatre! This theatre has been a part of my life for over forty years.

I would love to see our movie theater re-open, we loved it there and went all the time!!!

I am very sad at the loss of our theater. It was a cherished asset to the local community. We try to support the independent shops there, but the theater was a prime draw.

Let's keep this theater or be sure to replace it with another one.

We will dearly miss the Aptos Cinema. What a shame that after finally getting our beloved cinema renovated, it did not get its lease renewed. Not a good way to endear yourself to the community. Shame on you!

The community loves having this theater in town= please reconsider the impact. It upsetting a lot of folks.

Please keep us in the loop before you seemingly, unnecessarily, take away our great services like the Aptos Cinema. It was becoming really nice!

The Aptos Twin was just redone and we loved it! Will there be new owners for the theater? Please say yes. Don't take Susi's Flowers away please! It adds warmth and beauty! Thanks.

Very upsetting. One of the reasons a friend of mine bought a home in Aptos is because of the movie theater

Rancho del Mar's closing of the Aptos Cinema totally disregarded the value of this movie house as a long time community resource as well as a local venue that reduced miles traveled for patrons to see movies together without traveling to Santa Cruz or Watsonville theaters. Now that Rancho del Mar loses lease rent from this empty part of the center, I hope the Center owner reconsiders its decision to close down the only theater in Aptos.

The Aptos theater has been an anchor business for much of the social activities of our community for our children and friends. We often plan our evening outing around eating near the theater and picking up groceries after a movie. With out the option of the theater, our shopping and restaurant dollars would likely be spent else where. Please reconsider this decision or think about how you can include this valuable community resource . Thank you for your consideration.

Do not close the Aptos Twin movie theater.

The Aptos Cinema was our favorite movie theater in the area and the only reason we ever came to the complex. We love how small this community feels and prefer it over the craziness and heavy traffic of downtown, but that now seems to be changing. How frustrating it is that in a place we call home, we can't even share an opinion about it's development. I would like to find out where these developers live and build a velo track on their lawn.
