Ramsey Orta has been punished enough. Knowing the notorious Staten Island police department, Mr. Orta could never get a fair trial in that borough. And what exactly is he on trial for. It's surreal. Orwellian.

A change of venue is justified by the recent history of Mr. Orta and his family having been targeted and harrassed by the Staten Island police, and vilified by the widely publicized falsehoods asserted by District Attorney Donovan's office.
