The current drinking age in New Zealand is 18. we the undersigned wish for this to be raised to 21 years of age. Under age drinking causes 5000 deaths a year in new Zealand. Currently, 16 and 17 year olds can easily pass for 18, while it would be hard for them to pretend to be 21. Raise the drinking age now!
