SE Raleigh, show up at the city meeting and voice your concern. This is a petition for more tennis courts, which supports your argument. It's strange to me that you're threatening to fight this petition rather than using it as leverage.

What I want to know is what happened to the SE Raleigh Tennis Center??? City Council approved it back in 2012. If anyone gets courts, it should be Southeast Raleigh. How come there is no mention of that in your petition? Why not call it "Build Southeast Raleigh Tennis Center?" Before ANY more courts are built, honor your commitment to us in SEast Raleigh!!! I don't want to hear or read about any courts in North Raleigh, Lake Lynn, etc. until you build us our tennis center!! We will band together as a community here and fight any plan until our courts are done!!

Raleigh needs more courts. It also needs a tennis bubble for winter play. I agree the court development has not kept pace with the population explosion.

We really need repair work done on the city courts. Most have crabs in them that are tripping hazards. Millbrook is such a nice facility however, court availability for match play is tough for the city teams. It is very hard to schedule court time there.

Seems like the city keeps growing and new players are brought into the game. Yet, courts aren't getting built to keep up. Tennis is a great game to help stay fit.

Yes! Yes! More courts - grew up in Atl playing tennis - loved all the available courts - so surprised Raleigh does not have more courts to offer its citizens.

As a captain of a city public team, it is apparent that we need more public courts. One has to allow almost a week to reschedule a match due to not enough courts particularly whenever there is a weather issue. We have weather issues a lot. Team practices can also be a tight rope walk as to whether you can find courts that are available for practice. The Millbrook staff does an excellent job, but it is time they are given more court options to juggle.

What happened to the courts that we're going to be built near White Oak. When one lives in Garner it's a 30 minute drive to play in either Cary or Millbrook.

Raleigh tennis program is booming, and the court availability is limited, this should be an Embarrassing to the city and parks and recreational division. Population increasing, opportunities diminishing rapidly.

Tennis is a great sport both physical exercise and mental thought.
