I started my tennis career on city courts. I have tried to play tennis in other cities with little success. City Sr. program is unique and wonderful.

We need more courts.?we have so many teams and seniors using courts, people not on teams can't get a court. And trying to make up a match is very hard to find a court. The new community center on Durant Rd would be a great place for new courts. Also juniors and pickle ball players need to use the courts also. We should be glad we need more courts, which means more people are exercising and having fun.

It's a shame that Raleigh, the state capital, does not have the public facilities to host large tournaments similar to the "states" held in Ashville, Greensboro and Wilmington, etc. I'm also in favor of public indoor facilities.

It is very frustrating to try to find available courts especially for makeup matches.

We need another tennis center in Raleigh similar to the one that Cary has. Indoor courts would also be useful.

We need more courts! I don't like playing anywhere else but Millbrook! When we play at Optimist, all the high school kids are smoking, and I don't feel safe at any of the others!

Yes, more courts are needed. Many are in ill condition, area lit poorly & feel unsafe, friends cars have been broken into, high demand so courts NOT available. Plz make a priority to promote wellness & increased health of our town by adding more tennis courts NOW. Thank you. Nancy Lorch

Raleigh is long overdue for more courts. Tennis has exploded over the last 10 years and so has Raleigh's population yet we have the same facilities as we did 15-20 years ago.

The area is in desparate need of more courts, easily accessible - not 40 minutes away across town!

Raleigh definitely needs more tennis courts to keep up with the demand and growth of tennis users and host big tournaments such as ACC, ATP challenger. Raleigh lost these tournaments to Cary.

Lynn Road park needs more courts, in this part of Raleigh, and much better lights!

I play USTA league tennis in Raleigh on city teams. All the courts are jammed with league matches, especially now that there are 3 major age divisions. Also players gave to travel great distances to get to league evening matches in rush hour traffic. Help! We need more courts in a centralized area of Raleigh. Glen Eden Pilot Park also needs to be completely redone. Thecouts are unsuitable for match play. Any court affiliated with a community center should be suitable for match play, with proper drainage and equipment to clean the courts as well. This is Raleigh, City of Oaks. The amount of debris on courts is also an issue. Tennis should be the accessible sport of a lifetime? And the interest is great. I would be willing to pay a little more of a court fee as well.
