Wholeheartedly agree with this petition, they've been hidden away for far too long, and should be a prominent feature to welcome and farwell visitors to the island.

Saw the Lions along with the brass plaque when we walked the coastal path in August. Quite amazing....

This is a great idea and I thoroughly support it, Could we also get the 'Welcome to Anglesey' sign reinstated while we're at it?

Why not use all 4 lions, lets not hide our heritage.

The Lions are Internationally important - its not just 'a work of art' - they are part and parcel of the original pioneering Stephenson box-girder construction. That alone should be sufficient to display them on the bridge. The comments about using cranes was bemusing when you think how they got the original box-girder tubes into position.

I definitely think they should be visible from the road level and be accessible for photographs.

at the same time they are raised we need viewing areas for anyone to stop and photograph them

Bring the lions back so people can enjoy the craftsmanship that went into them.

It's a waste not to see these lions. The money it would bring in to North Wales from visitors would soon pay for the cost of raising them.

Should of been raised long ago.

How about taking casts of the stone lions and making fibreglass replicas to place by the roadside?

It would be really good to see these on view. Raising these would be good publicity for Anglesey.

I have walked to see these lions and have thought how sad it is that they are hidden. Its well past time that they were raised up into a visible position.

Lets get all four on public display and start this conversation to put these sculptures where all can see.

We came to Anglesey for 45 years on holiday and now live on the island and we have never seen the lions. They are part of the islands history and should be seen by islanders and visitors .
