This petition is established in order to eliminate a ban placed on a former Bradley University Student. Aaron Griffin is a former Bradley University student who was banned from campus for being accused of trespassing and using the Markin Recreation Center. This individual was not physically inside of the gym when the officers chose to accuse him of being in the gym room. Instead BU police officers identified him on previous footage from the recreational center and came to his house and arrested him for trespassing. Numerous of of situations such as this one has occurred with other individuals entering into the gym and has not been taking to the extent of banning individuals from campus. Having this former student banned has effected numerous of current students here on Bradley University's campus. By signing this petition you are a current student that supports eliminating his ban and having the Bradley University Police department reestablish the rules and regulations for banning students from campus. Having this student banned has effected numerous of current students here on Bradley University's campus. Now, Bradley University has implemented a warning system for individuals entering the Markin Facility. This is a luxury Aaron Griffin was not given. Please help us stand up for injustice.
The momentum behind this request for fairness is both undeniable and encouraging. Seeing so many people recognize the inequity in how these policies are applied confirms the necessity of our efforts. This support demonstrates a collective expectation for transparent and consistent treatment from the university administration.

This is completely unfair. Why is he being singled out when everyone else just gets a warning? Fix this now.

Ridiculous power trip by the campus police. He deserves a fair chance just like everyone else.

I know Aaron and he does not deserve this treatment. BU needs to stop ruining people's futures over petty stuff.

Why target one kid? If the system was flawed then they need to own that and let him back on campus.
