Raise Litecoin Awareness to be Accepted by Gyft

Don't you wish Litecoin (LTC) had a medium that it could use
to buy common goods? Gyft currently has over 200 retailers (1) that can
easily be accessed by the Bitcoin (BTC) market to do just this. A friend of
mine contacted the marketing department of Gyft today to see if they were
thinking about accepting LTC anytime in the foreseeable future. He received a
response stating that at the current level of demand for LTC, they would start
thinking about accepting LTC in Spring of 2014 at the earliest but if demand
rises significantly, this time frame could hopefully be pushed up.
When Gyft started to accept BTC on May 9, 2013 (2), BTC had a market cap
of around 1.33 Billion USD (3). As of now, LTC has a market cap of
around 222 Million USD (4). Gyft must have starting thinking about accepting BTC before this 1.33 Billion USD
mark and LTC already has the market cap of what BTC did back in early February
of 2013 (3) and by accepting LTC, Gyft could easily push LTC's market
cap to what BTC's was when Gyft began accepting BTC.
This petition was created to show Gyft the rising demand in finding a medium to
use LTC to purchase goods in the world around us. Hopefully with enough
signatures we can help push up the time frame that Gyft will begin to start
thinking about accepting LTC and everyone involved will be part of this
movement! LTC is a huge part in the evolution of currency and the sooner we
can easily use them at the local Target or Starbucks, the better of a
foundation we can begin to build for the future.
If you wish to contact Gyft directly, you can contact them at info@gyft.com to leave feedback.
Please forward this to as many people as possible!
Thank you for your time,
Devin
