This is utterly despicable. We need to do everything we can to punish these students and ensure this never happens again.

My students are in the Los Gatos elementary system but I fear sending them to the high school given these circumstances. In discussion with other families, I am learning that racist language and treatment are no isolated incidents at the school. I have heard of antisemitic and anti-Hispanic language and harassment as well. The high school clearly needs to intervene and send a clear, consistent message that this sort of behavior is unacceptable.

When opportunity to create a more aware populous comes, TAKE IT RIGHT AWAY. After all, school is to educate and enlighten.

it is imparative that LGHS better invest in educating its students on the history of white supremacy and racial oppression in a way that connects to the present, so that students understand how deeply violent these actions are from a historical context.

Seeing hateful behavior like this saddens me, doing nothing to appropriately address the situation angers me and should anger everyone.

LGHS has a duty to show that racism is unacceptable with unapologetic action. The students in question will soon be considered adults in the eyes of the law (if they are not already), if we do not address this now, we will have failed as a community to raise socially conscious citizens.

I am so very sad that this has happened and we need as a community and as alumni need to help Los Gatos high school get back on track and be accountable.

I am hopeful that the administration will make use of this valuable opportunity to address these issues.

Unbelievable. I'm ashamed to have ever been a part of this school and work environment. The apathy towards is extremely concerning. Even when you do something (by force because you cannot be willfully blind), I now know the lack of integrity your staff has and that faculty is truly there for a paycheck.

You show yourselves to be disgusting by not doing the appropriate measures here, now.

Lghs has needed this for a long time. I trust Kristy Grasty (who i had as a teacher in 2005) will handle this with urgency and care.

These students must learn that there are consequences to actions like this. They MUST NOT be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. It would be a disgrace to all who have and will walk through those doors and down those steps!
