To me this should be some kind of Child Abuse. If we would leave our children out there like that that is what it would be called. But for someone who has took an oath to serve and protect. This is just unethical for anyone much less a Police Officer. I hope you get all the things you accomplish out of this Petition.

This is very disturbing from anyone but from an officer its just not acceptable that our tax dollars are paying his salary to live in the community that he feels cant be diverse...He should be taken off the force immediately!!!!

I think the cop should be on leave without pay for the moment and I think h or they should lose their job. This is bull. The cop was going right by the little boys home and could have dropped him off. A police car is NOT his car, It IS the publics car. We pay taxes to buy, rapair, the gas, for the officer to service and protect. Where did he protect? His own grandchild? Ok he is NOT the only who pays the taxes!!! I think he forgot some of hie OATH that he took or should have took to become an officer.

It appears that there were two offenses: 1) The racist comment is totally unacceptable and 2) a nine year old child was left to walk home in 22 degree weather. This behavior is inappropriate for someone entrusted to serve and protect. I hope justice prevails in this matter.
