This is ridiculous a state of emergency should have been declared long ago I was in my home in Waterways Fort McMurray when it got a lot more smokey outside and we decided we were going to evacuate town, if My brother in law hadn't of been there and gone outside I would have died in that house, the fire was raging 20 feet above our heads and by the time I managed to get into our vehicle our home was almost ungulfed in flames by the time we made it out of our cul-de-sac our home was gone I watched it burn to the ground. And had I not of had that warning there is ABSOLUTELY NO way I would have made it out of that house. My 9 month old daughter was in the truck parked outside with her nephews while I rushed to try and get us clothes. We lost avsolutely everything and almost our lives because we had no idea how bad it actually was, now we have been driving across alberta since Tuesday afternoon trying to wrap our heads around that we don't know where we are going for how long if we are going to be able to work if we are going to have money, and eventually what we are going home to.. And where are we going?? THIS IS A SERIOUS STATE OF EMERGENCY PLEASE PLEASE GET EVERYONE OUT AND DECLARE IT A STATE OF EMERGENCY IT IS A STATE OF EMERGENCY. we don't even know if everyone in our neighbourhood made it out in time
