Robert Lawton "Lawty" has once again proven that he is not fit to be a race promoter. The racing community is ashamed of his actions, and we are asking that he is removed as promoter of the Boone Speedway.

Shame on you! I have a daughter with MS and she should not be told she can't go someplace because she is in a wheelchair. This makes my blood boil. Everyone should ban Boone Speedway because of this. I hope you reconsider and make amends.

I was sitting to the right of the young lady behind them, and Mr Lawton was not very
Perfessioal . He was not using a friendly voice, he had the gal to pull out his cell phone and took picture of them . Why? This all could of been handle so much differtlly

I witnessed first hand how this promoter cared more for drunk fan's then he did those sitting in a rushed to push handicap area. He and IMCA own the Boone facility and both need to be fined and or lose the IMCA Supernationals to some place other than Boone .

what track owner tries to ban disabled people for the place they are sitting what a bunch of BS this guy shouldn't sell out his race track to the others that care about their fans and IMCA needs to move Supernationals to a different facility!!

I understand his actions if he thought her safety was a concern but obviously that isn't it if she's sat in the same spot all season long. On top of that how wouldn't a promoter have handicap accessible seating areas this far along?

Having a child of my own with a disability and seeing how Lawton treated another child this way is not only disrespectful but is also discrimination. They have rights just like everyone else. He is no way adored for his actions and should be held accountable.
