One of the stories that touched us most was your first book, Homeland. It inspired a 25-minute animated short film that brought many of us together.
As the creator of the project, I am currently working on the second installment, with plans to make two videos for each book.
We are gathering here to humbly ask for your blessing.
This project was born from a deep love for Drizzt’s journey, and we would be honored beyond words to know that the man who created him supports what we are trying to do.
In addition to sharing these stories, many viewers have shared how watching the videos has brought back nostalgic memories — some even recalling when their parents first read the books to them. It’s clear that your work has had a profound impact, and we are grateful to be part of that journey. The videos have also reignited excitement in many, with several returning to the books they once cherished.

I was also introduced to the legend of Drizzt through this video. it has inspired me to revisit my first played race on D&D and give it a worthy and more lore accurate roleplay. and yeah, my first character was a Rogue Drow who was in love with a wood elf.
It should go without saying, but having a fan of your work so enthralled by it that they want to recreate them for a modern audience is one of creation's greatest honors. I implore Mr. Salvatore to grant his blessing for Ember to continue his loving, careful work.
I have known books by R Salvatore and read almoust all of them. Unfortunately there is hardly any representation in media, and seeing books, even adapted into animation, like this, it brings joy
I forgot all about the Dark Elf Trilogy until I stumbled across your videos. Now I’m digging through my old bookcases trying to track down all of my old Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance novels fo a re-read. I hope this works out well for you!

This needs to be shared. The accessibility this video offers to many people who don't usually read much, and how it helps them delve into the world of the Forgotten Realm and the story of Drizzt Do'Urden, is considerable. This must continue. In part, to further promote this incredible story and community.
I never knew of Drizzt Do'Urden until i actually watched these videos, and now I want to buy the book now because of it. I unironically relate to the story because there is an element of acting beyond your conditioning. Its pretty bittersweet because i feel a sense of recognition and Ember does it justice kind of telling the story since it's all too relatable.

These books are incredible and changed dnd for the better. After they had came out, there was always someone trying to play a drow ranger in every party. Please give us your blessing, that way we can introduce this amazing story to a whole new generation of dnd players!
