We are saddened and enraged that this book was intially leaked against your will, and cannot imagine how violating that must have felt. We offer our sympathy and support (and a huge group hug!). Deciding to release the unfinished document on your website was both bold and brave, and those of us who have read it are sending you our most humble request to finish Midnight Sun. It is an ingenius and savvy idea to rewrite the books from Edward's perspective, and we have found it enlightening and enthralling. Perhaps your choice was influenced by your respect for Orson Scott Card, who so similarly penned the Ender's Shadow series. We yearn that--like him--you choose to not only finish Midnight Sun, but to continue the series detailing the story from Edward's intriguing perspective. Pardon the comparison, but we feel like Bella in New Moon after Edward left. We need him back. We pledge to support your work and to purchase it lawfully (and quickly!) as soon as it would be released.
