I am currently drafting a formal letter to the production office detailing the specific husbandry requirements for a healthy betta environment. We are preparing to send this documentation directly to the show's research team to ensure they understand the necessity of a five gallon setup.

The growth of this petition shows that the current conditions for Qwerty are unacceptable to a wide audience. I am now finalizing a formal letter to the production team to communicate these specific husbandry requirements. A meeting request will follow once the correspondence is delivered.

Please consider upgrading Qwertys tank and promote proper betta care. 2.5g+ heated and filtered. He would very much appreciate it!
Because you wouldn't like to live your life locked in your bedroom alone with no bathroom either
Many people watch this show. showing a beta fish in a tank this small is not ok as this could lead to the mistreatment of more fish.
Qwerty Deserves Better!!! Proper fish care representation is important. Media influences our perception on so many things, people are going to get the wrong idea that the tank Qwerty has is substantial enough when it's not. Also in the world of the show - Qwerty is currently in Angela's care, Angela has a very high paying job and could absolutely believably afford a adequate fish tank, so it would not break any suspension of disbelief one would have to enjoy their viewing experience.

This tank breaks the immersion; no way would Elliot, so research driven and critical of people's behaviour, keep a fish in a tank this small.
