Hi, this is a petition to stop betta abuse. Most local pet stores all over the world abuse bettas and a lot turn a blind eye because they say” they are just fish” no they aren’t. Fish are living breathing animals who don’t deserve to be sold in cups. Bettas being sold in cups is equivalent to a human living in a 2x2 foot cube maybe even worse. This petition is to put an end to this and only allow good breeders and educated pet stores to sell bettas. This petition would maybe get pet stores to buy quality bettas and put them in a minimum of a 1 gallon planted, substrated tank for males separated by a divider. Along with females being put in at least a 100 gallon sorority tank with a bunch of hides and plants with a couple handful of females. Bettas deserve to be treated as well as humans and dogs and cats. So please help me and these bettas by just taking 3 minutes to sign,Thank you.
