If i go slow enough to not damage the suspension on one of my cars, I nearly pull the mud flaps off instead. My other car scraps the exhaust on them.

Would just like to add that sometimes I bring a motorcycle to work, and I cannot go over the bumps as the bottom of the bike (cowling) hits the top of the bump. So I have to go round the bump between the bump and the kerb. This is just a few inches in places and I have to try to squeeze through.
Also, the huge pot hole at the entrance. It was filled once, and literally one week later it was worse than before. Surely the priority would be to sort the damaged dangerous road first, then replace the worn speed bumps.

I would understand the speed bumps are for the pedestrians safety. If that is the case there are other means like pedestrians crossings which are much safer. And damage to the car concerns me a lot.

already damaged my car hits the side skirts think the shocks will be next even at 5 MHP , why so high the older ones were good enough, just not fitted correctly, not happy

The money could of been better spent fixing the hole in the road near the Hawley Road entrence.

The bumps are too high, causing damage to our vehicles no matter how slowly you drive over them the vehicles take so much impact from them, a lot of the new bumps have the remains of the old bumps as another obstacle to negotiate, not to mention that monstrous pot hole at the entrance. What happened to the barriers being used to stop all the traffic using the estate as a cut through?!

The speed bumps should be in place to make sure people do not EXCEED the speed limit. These speed bumps have to be taken at a very low speed (under the required speed) so that less damage is caused to vehicles. Get rid of them and make security do their job properly. The people that are speeding are people in company vehicles and do not care about the vehicle. People caught speeding who work on the premises should be dealt with in the correct manner.
