I may live in Florida now, but am from Woodhaven. I would have killed for a subway using the LIRR Rockaway Branch. It would have been great to get to Midtown, or even to shop at Queens Center. The buses are a joke, and Woodhaven Blvd. is bursting at the seams. This should have been built decades ago. What ther hell do we need a linear park for? Forest Park is one of the larger parks in NYC. The line runs right through it. The only people against it are people that have used the right of way for their own personal use.

The Rockaways and all of southern Queens are totally underserved when it come to transportation. A ferry will help to alleviate some of the disparity, however we are in dire need of Queensrail.

I'm tired of sitting in traffic every weekday morning on Woodhaven Blvd. We don't need a "park inside a park" ... we need more mass transit in southern Queens.

The Rockaway Peninsula has been the stepchild of the NYC MTA for decades. The transit system must improve to address the needs of the the residents and to attract new residents from neighboring boroughs.

This is a rare opportunity to utilize an existing right of way with minimal land acquisition. Queens needs to be connected - build the QueensRail!

The rail will run 24/7. No added street/road congestion. Faster and less stress.

More rail service is never a bad thing, especially if it cuts commute time in half!

This needs to be built. It should be a branch of the Subway. The M should be extended via the line.

The residents of southern Queens are starved for better mass transit and NYC desperately needs a one seat mass transit option from midtown to JFK in order to be an attractive destination for travelers and environmentally sustainable city. Some decisions are compelling. Obtaining public rights-of-way are the biggest impediment to future mass transit growth.

I'm for it because, come on, let's be real. Do you really want a bunch of yuppies poking around in your backyard or would you rather a train that can take you right to work? Plus both the LIRR and NYC Subway have provisions to connect to this line. Make it happen!

I take the QM15 to and from work - I pay $13.00 a day for this and commute 3 hrs a day when I live 12 miles from Manhattan. Leaving work at 4:15 arrive home at 6:00 PM - Do something to shorten my commute and increase my quality of life
