Beautiful climb to enjoy an elevated view of the surrounds, just like an eagle

Stop closing our parks. Stop restricting us from what is natural and owned by all Australians. Spend our taxpayers money on fixing whatever needs repair and get this park open.

As a natively born Australian and a person who enjoys being fit and active in the fantastic landscape Australia has to offer, I take it as a personal insult every time a piece of our great country is locked away. Clearly this is not about cost of maintaining the track. I am a natively born Australian and believe I have as much right to The Australian landscape as any other natively born Australian.

I grew up with many trips to the region and climbs up the mountain. It's as right of passage for anyone growing up in the area. It's part of my history too.

This track is important to you and I and all Australians and visitors. Walking brings a connection for humans to the earth. Fine those who disrespect the land. I hope to take my young children and show them the peak when they are older. Please share.

Why can't they choose some other place to be "sacred", I doubt the ancestors will care

Please keep this track fully open. I "climbed" ("scrambled" is more accurate) to the summit in 2020 at age 73yrs, so that surely indicates that it's not so difficult or dangerous.

Open the track, it is for everyone, don't let it go down the path of Ayres Rock.
