I have been on much worse walking tracks in Australia. Such a shame to see a well maintained respected, view offering summit close for a small insignificance. I’m sure all avid hikers and walkers do their utmost research before completing this walk to maintain safe at all times. I would pay a fee in a heart just to complete this track one more time!!

Mt Warning should be kept open for those that wish to climb it. A user-pays system allows for freedom of access and can cover all maintenance costs.

This is an absolute travesty that we now cannot walk up this beautiful mountain.
Do we not want people to enjoy the wonders of nature??
Otherwise why do have National parks??

I support a user pays system to allow the Mt Warning Summit track to reopen.

I am sad and worried. How many more wonderful places might be closed in the near future? In the long run we may loose support for protecting our environment if we deny people the opportunity to experience the magic of more and more places which are our countries great assets and special for so many of us.

Please keep the trail open to all. Bushwalking is the best medicine. I love this trail.

Open this up again. Use some of the huge amounts of come tax taken to keep it safe and user friendly for all.

I climbed Mt Warning when I was a kid and my grandparents lived at Uki. I still remember the view that first time and I have been back 3 times since. I want my grandkids to be able to enjoy this natural wonder. Aren’t national parks for all Australians?

Stop overnight camping and impound cars of people staying up there. Cameras to catch the people littering on the top.

As a ‘National Park’ it is a responsibility of govt to ensure that everyone has access. Closing this track which is popular amongst bushwalker/climbers alike would be to cede to minority groups. Keep Mt Warning open for all!

Of all the walking tracks around the tweed valley. This is the best. And shouldn’t be lost to future generations.

Please reopen the track for all people to enjoy. Signage by indigenous people to explain the significance of the area to non-indigenous peoples would earn respect and understanding.
