This should be open to all Australians, not just a select few, be they aboriginal or not it should be access for all Australians.

My husband proposed to me at the top of Mount Warning. And I grew up on a farm in the area. Mount Warning is a special place for me and my family and I want everyone to be able to climb the summit. Not a select few.

Australia is a country that enjoys religious freedom. Why should one group of people's spiritual beliefs be forced on the rest of us? I want to climb to enjoy nature and the accomplishment of reaching the top. If climbing to the top goes against your spiritual beliefs, then stay at the bottom. Surely a compromise could be reached where the site is only closed a few times a year to allow the aboriginal ceremonies to take place? And for those who say, you're not allowed to climb churches. I would point out that there are plenty of churches around the world where climbing to the top is allowed and encouraged (for example St Paul's cathedral in London).

No one owns this land it should be free to all to see the natural wonders of this beautiful country we share. (I just repeat after Matthew Smith)

Please keep Mt. Warning tracks open. An entry fee should be charged for visitor cultural education, track maintenance and security in the car park.

I have many fond memories of climbing Mt Warning with different groups of family members and friends since I was about six years old. I have possibly done the climb about thirty times. Each time it is very special. My childhood home had Mt Warning in sight right from my kitchen window and verandah. I now live even closer to Mt Warning but not lucky enough to have the same view now. I am second eldest of five girls, usually my childhood trips had one of my sisters being carried in a backpack, with a picnic packed for when we got back down (it made for a cheap outing as money was tight). During my school years I was lucky enough to attend several school excursons to Mt Warning. My children have done many walks/runs up the moutain with me, including a yearly Christmas catchup with their cousins on the walk. It is very sad to think that if they are lucky enough to have kids they won't be able to carry on our traditions with their families. I would love to able to climb Mt Warning and be a part of my future grand childrens memories of the beautiful mountain.

I have climbed this mountain since 'i was 6. It is one my most cherished memories of my mother. It is sacred to me and something I want to share with my kids. Don't do this, please.

Who decides to close these types of places? Do our Politicians want Australia to be a Communist Country? More to the point, I feel they just want the 'people' to be sheep and follow :-|

Where's the logic? Or is there an agenda? If it's just a chain, it can be replaced. or allow part of the walk to be open. Can we fix it? Yes we can!!

The beautiful iconic mountain trek should not be closed. All of my family and friends have enjoyed the trek many times and this experience should be open to all!

I’m fed up with sites being closed without consulting the general public. Are not politicians meant to be public servants. Zero chance of that.

I too have written to the NSW parks people about this, and received an incredibly anodyne reply.
