The mountain has been wrongfully closed due to the NSW government fettering its discretion to an Aboriginal interest group. This is plain wrong. Wake up Australia to the public land hand back that is quietly destroying our pastimes, culture and freedom.

There is no valid reason to close that beautiful area. If it is of spiritual significance, everybody has the right to experience it. All it takes is respect from all sides.

Why are we closing off our country to appease a tiny minority of people????? Let everyone enjoy our places of beauty

It’s a disgrace that others cannot experience what I have done a few times because it is such a wonderful thing to climb and see the view

I was born in Australia and have lived here my whole life. I love my Country, I Respect the indigenous people as they are also my country. I would love if we could open this amazing track again on the mountain and learn about the cultures surrounding this amazing part of Australia. I would love to climb and learn everything I possibly can and I’m sure I am not the only one. It would be amazing to see this open again for everyone to enjoy and respect.

I climbed this the year it closed. I have wanted to take dozens of people to the top but am unable due to the denial of letting people witness the wonders of the natural world.

It is a shame that this fantastic walking track to the summit of Mt Warning is closed. I did it several times in the past and now I would love to do it with my son. The connection with nature I felt there was unique. Please, do consider re-opening this track for everyone who loves nature to enjoy. Thanks.

If the place holds such significance, get input from the local elders to put a shrine or memento so that visitors can learn and acknowledge the connection. That way all area able to experience the beauty and pay respect to an ancient culture.
