The goal is to advocate for better-quality supermarket options for the residents of Staten Island’s North Shore. Although supermarkets exist nearby, many do not provide fresh, affordable groceries at the standard our community needs. This lack of quality options has affected the health, convenience, and daily lives of North Shore families.
Currently, it takes many of us 20-25 minutes just to reach a quality supermarket for fresh produce and healthier food options. This situation is not only inconvenient but also adds unnecessary travel time and expense for families. Our neighborhood deserves improved options that offer fresh produce, diverse food choices, and affordable prices to meet the needs of all residents.
Living on the north shore is impossible when u have to travel 30 mins just for a decent apple. We need something closer to home.
