FYI....... The Serenity Baptist church on Cox Road has a vacant lot next to it and several months ago all the trees and etc. were cleared via heavy machinery... Why? To my understanding. It will be associated with the facility in a form of a parking lot. With walk ways leading to the facility from the rear of the facility. Look into it somebody if possible.

This cannot happen. I have been a participating Pisgah Youth Organization (PYO) Baseball Coach for 9 years. To have such a facility so close to neighborhoods and right across the street from a well organized, Public attended, Youth oriented establishment can only leave myself and others with one question....How many of these "patients" will attend these games? Supervised or NOT........ Think about it Folks, you will be bring your children to a place of possible risk. This is not fair to Pisgah Youth Organization or the surrounding neighborhoods in West Chester, Ohio. Do what's right, prevent a wrong.

We live in the neighborhood adjacently behind this proposed facility. Our 12 year old child rides her bike in the neighborhood to friends' houses. She has told us about stories of hobos in the woods - meaning there is a wooded area that would provide cover for unsavory characters. Having worked and lived in the Clifton area around UC, I would pass a rehab facility everyday. There were people coming and going and "hanging out" in front all the time. I don't want this facility so close to our home, our neighborhood, our child. I don't want her approached by a wondering person whether they are visiting, feeling lost or recovering. I believe there are much better places for such a facility than 100 yards from a daycare center and across the street from a ball field. This is just common sense.

I do not feel comfortable with this idea. That is our neighborhood behind that facility and that is where we play and ride our bikes. Now with that facility there we will feel uncomfortable to take walks and ride our bikes. Please, This is not good.

I would like to see centers opened in industrial zoned areas like Hamilton county.

I do not agree with such a facility being located so close to a youth athletic facility or neighborhoods where my children play.

It is such a silly idea to put a center such as this around and area that is loaded with young children, especially in the summer time.

It is truly disheartening that this doctor will jeopardize our neighboring children for his own personal gain of mostly government funded money. Unacceptable and his ethics are definitely question throughout the community.

Terrible location should be a law to prevent a business like this being this close to a daycare center.

I will not vote for any trustee who allows this to happens.

A drug rehab facility is sorely needed. I am a father of a three year old beautiful daughter and happily married and a homeowner on Rambling Ridge. I cannot disagree more with the assertion that a drug rehab facility will hurt children. That is based on misinformed and misguided beliefs about people trying to recreate their lives. You speak of protecting the children, many of the people trying to get clean were once children and are usually still someone's child. Moreover, a drug rehab facility is desperately needed. Butler county MUST address addiction. Believe me when I tell you that by blocking the construction of this rehab you will be putting your children more at risk. I know it's easy to hate drug addicts and believe your property values will be hurt but again, this notion is founded more on propaganda that all drug addicts are out there lurking in the shadows ready to hurt kids. Nonsense. A much bigger threat is out there regarding a lack of quality care for alcoholics and addicts who want and need to change their lives. I believe all residents of Butler County should support these endeavors and I do. Probably 99.999% of those in drug rehab are way too focused on detoxing and attending the rigorous activity structure at such places to ever pose any meaningful risk to any children. Most addicts love children and would NEVER harm them. They have a disease which needs treatment. The folks at this proposed facility are there to get help- not hurt children. That's rather absurd in my mind based on evidence and reality. Drug dealers aren't "moving in" just because there is a drug rehab. If you don't support some type of help for Butler County addicts you are putting your children at a much graver risk. And, I hate to break this stark fact to you, but some of the children in Butler County will need help battling addiction. There are many other better locations for this facility in our township. I am very much against the building of this drug-rehab facility at the given site.

Just say no! The proximity to children is dangerous and foolhardy!

There is also an elementary school 1 mile away up Cox road. This is not a location where this type of facility should be placed.

I feel that the proposed plan for the former nursing home site would not be conducive to having children at the PYO across the street and next to a day care center from the drug and behavorial center.

I am against this facility being built next to PYO.

It is unthinkable to put a place like this so close to the children of our community. They deserve a safe place to grow up!

This facility is totally inappropriate for the location on Route 42. It belongs in an industrial area where young children won't be negatively impacted.

I am 19, live around here, and will be going to college around here. I would not feel safe with this center close by. I advocate therapy, as I see a therapist myself, but this is not a way to help them. If you need therapy like this, in the beginning, a rigorious regiment is the only way to start healing. The schedule helps get your body mentally and physically prepared to transition into a somewhat normal life.

I live in area and this is not safe for any of us. Crime etc would be awful
