In these days of fast-paced schedules, those two days at the end of the week are valuable time for students and their familes to spend together. Additionally, many studnets will be out those two days as families will be traveling back home from holiday visiting. I do not think it will be an effective use of resources to open school those two days. With many students still absent, teachers will find themselves having to reteach the material. Let us start back fresh on Monday, January 6th, 2014.
