There is no rhyme or reason that justifies this absurd move to mix two very different sounding and looking elements of the band, which degrades the sound, the look, and the marching of the whole band, and those are the things people are there to see. They are NOT there to notice how "equal" the band elements now look.

What a ridiculous idea! Not withstanding the incredible history of the band, the original idea of pipes was to scare the enemy from their place with the combined sound of the pipes coming toward them. Split the sound and ruin the effect.

Leave the Citadel Pipe Band intact as they've always been.

This is the first time I have ever heard of a Pipe Band being integrated within another band. I'm not even aware of British Pipe Bands doing this.
