Yes, please put the Pipe Band out in front where it belongs. Tradition is a very important thing and this is against what the military stands for...tradition.....

I have NEVER seen a split pipe band from a lifetime of watching pipe bands - I have probably seen more than fifty.

Both the sound and appearance are better with pipes in front. For a school steeped in tradition, this is one that should be renewed

How ridiculous that this has even become an issue! What in the world is going on in this school that they would change what is not broken. This is a prestigious group (so much so that they compete in different parts of the world). It has been an honor to watch them perform as they lead the band as well as the other cadets out of the barracks and onto the field as well as leading the football games. What is next, every kid gets a trophy so they feel special? What else could possibly be the reason for this (in my opinion) for such a tragedy! I hope they will reconsider.
