What a shame that they want to get rid of such important services. They must not stop!

The Inclusive Learning Tutors assess the very high number of students who are referred to ALS for Exam Access Arrangements and support arrangements in class. They handle a huge volume of work and it seems impossible that a team of 13 tutors can be replaced by just three assessors.

This is a very bad decision. Students who need support deserve to be supported by qualified and experienced staff. Asking LSAs and TAs to do this work for less just doesn't seem fair

A disgraceful decision showing a complete lack of understanding of the importance of the ALS team, who are already stretched, for our most vulnerable students and teaching staff.

Inclusive education is fundamental for ensuring all people are respected and permitted to enjoy education and all the social and emotional opportunities it brings. Don't cut inclusive education at City and Islington.

It is outrageous this is happening - we should be investing more, because more students will fail without this support. These members of staff are a valuable asset who's contracts should be bolstered further in order to keep their expertise and recognise the valuable role they play in the academic sector.

Management does not care about we employees, as decision taken is always to favour them. I hope my decision will be granted as i work so hard and not appreciated.

Cutting ALS staff damages the learning potential for our most vulnerable students. How can we consider ourselves to be a good college when we keep cutting the services that support teaching and learning? Please reconsider. There must be another way.

In CCCG ALS staff are crucial if the needs of less socially privileged students are to be even partly met.
