Removing the Steel City MX race from the AMA National race circuit is a absolute slap in the face. Steel City is located in Delmont, Pa right outside of Pittsburgh. This race track is one of the most beautiful tracks around, and definetly fan friendly, being able to see 95% of the track from anywhere on the property. I have no idea why they would remove Steel City, instead of High Point. For instance, High Point Raceway is in the middle of nowhere and I mean the middle of nowhere. The ability to even get to high Point is difficult and very uncomfortable. Access to public places and consumer goods is very easy to get to at Steel City. This is a track where family traditions have been held for generations. My dream would be to see Steel City reinstated, and I am sure it would bring happiness back to many people. I thought that these large scale sporting events was to please the "crowd" but not to line the pockets of the big wigs! Show your support for the best sport there is, and bring the racing back to Steel City!
